Step 1.
Once you have determined the line across the
land you wish your fencing to follow, a start post is used to initiate the
fence. This as with all posts should be knocked into the ground so that the
thrust plate is approximately one inch below ground level. When installing
start posts, the tubes on the post must face the direction your fence will
follow.
Step 2.
Next is to install the middle posts. These
are placed every meter (1000mm) after the start post. Normally after a start
post, four middle posts will be installed and the fifth a support post.
Step 3.
Finally after installing four middle posts
you can start inserting the railings. All railings are supplied at 5200mm in
length and once inserted should overhang your last middle post by
approximately 150mm (does not need to be precise). You can then install
another four middle posts at this point. Once installed you can then insert
your next set of railings. Depending upon your choice of fence you will be
supplied with either round sockets or 8mm nuts, bolts and washers. Where
flat bar rails are concerned each flat bar slides over the previous rail so
that the pre manufactured slots are in line and can be bolted together.
Where round bars are used, each rail will simply be joined using the
appropriate socket and tightened into place using the 8mm grub screws
provided. (see Connecting drawing above for details).
Step 4.
Your last post installed should be a finish
post. This again should be installed with the pre-welded tubes facing
towards the fence (in the case backwards). Again tighten the rails in place
once they have been slid through the tubes.
